Ham
Natural Ham, from pigs naturally grown on single Vermont family farm, from heritage Berkshire-Chester White cross pigs - brined in Vermont Maple Syrup and not too much salt before smoking with the sweet, mellow corn cob and maple wood smoke - perfection on a plate!
These piggies start their lives in a specially designed nursery that allows them to safely roam inside the barn, before going out onto pasture in the summer time to graze along with their diet of Vermont-grown and freshly ground grains. This healthy living means that the pork we buy is from pigs raised without antibiotics or added hormones. Their Berkshire genetics give them a pleasing amount of flavorful fat and their Chester White parentage gives them great tasting, meaty cuts.
The ham from these happy porkers has a different flavor from their barn-raised cousins -- their diet of grass, freshly ground grains and foraged goodies from their pastures likely makes the difference. This ham is a revelation of how pork is meant to taste!

| NATURAL, UNCURED HAM STEAK
For hams from our Certified Humane (Quebec-grown) grown pigs, we use the same balance of Vermont maple syrup and moderate amount of salt as our traditionally cured hams. Made without any sodium nitrite. Made from pork raised without any antibiotics or added hormones and fed a vegetarian diet.
Our ham steaks are quick and easy, perfect to throw on the grill or in the pan for a dinner for a few, dice up for omelettes or a quiche, or just about anything else! Cut from our traditional cure hams. A half inch thick slice of our delicious traditional cure ham, in a nine to twelve-oz piece individually wrapped.
