CIDER BRINED, COB & MAPLE SMOKED, LOW SODIUM BACON

Vermont Smoke and Cure now brings you bacon with full flavor and low sodium – only 135 mg per thick-cut slice – and no added sugar.

For this big-flavor, low-sodium bacon, we crafted a brine using naturally sweet Vermont apple cider, a centuries-old combination of spices and just enough sea salt plus salt containing potassium rather than sodium.  Smoke from corn cobs and maple wood helps create bacon bursting with flavor.  With this combination of cider and spices you won’t miss the sodium or sugar!

The pork that creates this delectable slice of piggy heaven is vegetarian fed and raised without being administered antibiotics – ever.  This low-sodium, uncured bacon delivers ‘damn fine’ flavor, just as our bacon has for over 50 years.

NATURAL, THICK SLICED BACON

We brine our natural, uncured bacon with Vermont maple syrup, just enough salt and a combination of spices before smoking with the sweet, mellow smoke from corn cobs and maple wood, to create a perfect balance of flavor.  We add no sodium nitrite, only celery juice and sea salt, which are natural sources of nitrate.

Thick sliced, 13-15 per lb instead of the standard 17-19 per lb = bigger bacon flavor!

Our natural, maple brined and cob & maple smoked uncured bacon - now  in a mini slab!  You can slice it yourself, thick or thin, or dice as desired!

There's nothing as great as slicing your own bacon off the slab -- we think bacon cut 1/4" thick cooks up best, because you taste more of the bacon instead of the pan. Our mini slab makes it easy to enjoy thick sliced off the slab flavor!
